The routes through the Harz National Park offer a good view of the Brocken and go into deep valleys and to many cliffs (Ilsefälle, Froschfelsen, Zeterklippen).

W 3 The Harz forest tour

Cliffs and panoramic vistas! The routes offer grandiose views of the Brocken and across the northern Harz foothills. They lead you through deep valleys and onto numerous rocky outcrops. Ilsefälle, Froschfelsen, Zeterklippen, Ottofelsen and Paternosterklippe – their names remind us of legends and traditional stories.

W 6 Little Ilsestein Tour

23 km / 680 hm

Very well-constructed route in all places | long steep climb of over 3 km along the Ilse waterfalls and to the Stempelsbuche | otherwise an easy ride

W 7 Ilsenburg Cliff Tour

27 km / 669 hm

Tour with 2 extreme climbs: from Kruzifix to Scharfenstein relatively short climb made more difficult by old military road slabs | 2nd climb at Gelben Brink just as steep, but significantly longer | route is well-constructed throughout, but difficult around the Zeterklippen
